  15.      _d_h_c_p__r_e_l_a_y is the relay-agent that communicates with other DHCP and
  16.      _p_r_o_c_l_a_i_m clients and servers to provide address-leases across networks
  17.      using DHCP messages.  The format of DHCP messages is based on BOOTP
  18.      messages (see RFC 951).  A detailed protocol specification for DHCP is
  19.      contained in RFC 1541, available from the Network Information Center.

  21.      The DHCP relay-agent receives service requests at the UDP port indicated
  22.      in the _b_o_o_t_p service description contained in the file /_e_t_c/_s_e_r_v_i_c_e_s (see
  23.      _s_e_r_v_i_c_e_s(4)).

  25.      _d_h_c_p__r_e_l_a_y replaces the standard _b_o_o_t_p(_1_M) server application and serves
  26.      both _b_o_o_t_p and DHCP clients.  The ----ffff option on the command line enables
  27.      the forwarding function of _b_o_o_t_p(_1_M).

  31.      _d_h_c_p__r_e_l_a_y execution can be controlled through the following steps.

  33.      1)  Specify relay-agent options in the /_e_t_c/_c_o_n_f_i_g/_d_h_c_p__r_e_l_a_y._o_p_t_i_o_n_s
  34.          file, if any, as in this example:

  36.          This specifies an optional _p_r_o_c_l_a_i_m server configuration directory.
  37.          The default directory is /_v_a_r/_d_h_c_p/_c_o_n_f_i_g.

  39.      2)  The configuration directory contains a file _d_h_c_p__r_e_l_a_y._s_e_r_v_e_r_s, which
  40.          has a list of _p_r_o_c_l_a_i_m servers, one per line.  DHCP messages are
  41.          forwarded to each server contained in this file.  Proclaim servers
  42.          may be specified using either an Internet host name or an Internet
  43.          address in standard dot notation (see _i_n_e_t(3N)).  Here is a sample
